Yalding Parish Council – Temporary Road Closure – B2010 High Street & Vicarage Lane, Yalding – 5th December 2026

Due to Yuletide Market taking place, it will be necessary to close part of 2010 High Street & Vicarage Lane, Yalding, from 5th December 2026 with estimated completion by 5th December 2026.

Closures will be imposed between the hours of 15:00 and 21:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

B2010 High Street will be closed between the junctions of Kenward Road and B2162 Benover Road.

Vicarage Road will be closed from the junction of B2010 High Street to Windmill Path.

The alternative route for any Eastbound through traffic is via Vicarage Road, Mill Lane, B2162 Benover Road and vice versa.

The alternative route for any Westbound through traffic is via B2162 Benover Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2015 Maidstone Road, Bow Bridge, Bow Hill, Kenward Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

Yalding Parish Council require these closures for the safety of the public and event personnel while allowing Yuletide Market to take place.
