Superflo Ltd - Temporary Road Closure - Kenward Road - 10th June 2026
Welcome to Yalding Parish comprising the villages of Laddingford and Yalding together with their respective catchment areas. In total, the Parish covers some 5,238 acres, has an electorate of approximately 2,000 and is situated within the Borough of Maidstone. We have two primary schools, one pre-school, two playingfields, a doctors' surgery, two churches, a chapel, two village halls, three pubs, an Indian restaurant, a library and information centre, two shops, a teashop, a cafe and a post office that does not just sell stamps. Too numerous to mention individually, we have around fifty clubs and societies ranging from The Parent and Baby Group to The Village Pensioners Club. These include fundraising groups, church groups, singing, dancing and music groups, sports clubs, social groups, book clubs, exercise groups, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, gardening and allotment societies, art and photographic groups, beekeeping enthusiasts and drama productions. We are lucky enough to be the custodians of 95.6% of all the Common Land within Maidstone Borough.
