Temporary Road Closure – Bow Bridge, Wateringbury – 23rd August 2026

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, it will be necessary to close part of Bow Bridge, Wateringbury, from 23rd August 2026 with estimated completion by 24th August 2026.

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, it will be necessary to close part of Bow Bridge, Wateringbury, from 23rd August 2026 with estimated completion by 24th August 2026.

Bow BridgeWateringbury, will be closed 20 metres either side of Wateringbury railway crossing, between the hours of 01:00 on 23rd August 2026 and 04:00 on 24th August 2026 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bow Bridge, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2162 Benover Road, B2010 High Street, B2010 Yalding Hill, Kenward Road, Bow Hill and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow changing of sleepers and removal of scrap to be carried out, works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
