Temporary road closure at Bow Bridge, Nettlestead on 26th April 2026 for rail crossing maintenance by Network Rail.

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, it will be necessary to close part of Bow Bridge, Nettlestead, from 26th April 2026 with estimated completion by 26th April 2026.

Bow Bridge, Nettlestead, will be closed 20 metres either side of Wateringbury Level Crossing, between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bow Bridge, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2162 Benover Road, B2010 High Street, B2010 Yalding Hill, Kenward Road, Bow Hill, Bow Bridge and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow rail crossing maintenance works to be carried out.
