Temporary road closure on Hampstead Lane, Nettlestead on 19th April 2026 for telegraph pole replacement works.

Due to works planned to be undertaken by OPENREACH LIMITED, it will be necessary to close part of Hampstead Lane, Nettlestead, from 19th April 2026 with estimated completion by 19th April 2026.

Hampstead Lane, Nettlestead, will be closed in the vicinity of Orchard Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2015 Maidstone Road, Maidstone Road Roundabout, A228 Hale Street By Pass, A228 Branbridges Ind Est Roundabout, A228 Branbridges Road, Beltring Road, Gravelly Ways, Lees Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out.
